As a marine biologist and avid traveler, I often seek out hidden gems, and Acclaim Gateway Tourist Park turned out to be a delightful surprise on my road trip through Western Australia. Nestled right off Highway 1, it was the perfect pit stop after a long day of driving, especially since the cabins were well-appointed and clean-much appreciated after a day on the road! We opted for the cosy chalets, complete with a fully equipped kitchen, which allowed my friends and me to whip up a lovely dinner from local ingredients we picked up along the way. Being able to BBQ under the starry sky was a treat! The friendly staff added warmth to our stay, making it feel more like a home than just another drop-in spot. Beyond the comfort of our cabin, the park itself is a lovely slice of nature, surrounded by native gardens that evoke tranquility-ideal for us nature lovers. If you find yourself traveling through Norseman, take a moment to appreciate this hidden retreat. It's a budget-friendly option that truly exceeded all expectations!
